10 Ways to Help Voices in the Next 10 Years

August 1 officially marked 10 years that Voices for Georgia’s Children has been working to improve the lives of children all across Georgia. Thanks to all of our supporters, allies and partners for an incredible decade of advocacy. In honor of our 10 year anniversary, we have put together a list of 10 easy things you can do to help make sure we are an even better voice for children during the next 10 years!

1.) Make a contribution

2.) Share, comment, like our content –– whether it’s our Facebook posts, tweets, latest news updates or our blog posts

3.) Sign up for our email list, we have some interesting stuff to say!

4.) Volunteer your time –– in our office, at an event, at the Capitol

5.) Volunteer your skills –– do research, write copy, edit reports – Do you have a skill or expertise you feel could help Voices in some way? Get in touch with one of our staff members to find out how you can use it. This is a great option if volunteering at events is not your thing.

6.) Become a monthly sustaining contributor at an amount that works for you – Pick an amount that works for you, whether it’s $10 a month (two cups of coffee from starbucks) or $50 a month, and take the pledge to give that amount every month for the next 10 months in honor of our 10 year anniversary. Being a sustainer will help ensure we can continue to advocate for children all across Georgia for the next 10 years.

7.) Set up an echo –– forward our action alerts to 10 of your friends

8.) Repeat the beat –– contact your elected representatives often to vote for kids.

9.) Invite your company to sponsor a Voices event

10.) Vote in every election for candidates who commit to children
