Think children should be a priority in the 2008 elections?

Then join Voices for Georgia’s Children and other advocates in a non-partisan, nationwide event, "Step Up for Kids Day," on September 16, 2008.

Voices is organizing the event in Atlanta, one of 50 on capitol steps across the country for drawing public attention in this election year to issues affecting America's children such as poverty, health care, juvenile incarceration, early care and education, child abuse, and afterschool programs.

Advocates, public officials, civic leaders and children will gather to rally behind calls for a re-energized commitment by the state’s leaders and candidates to make children a focal point of their agendas.

Speakers will be announced soon.

Show your support for kids on this special day.
