Child Care key to Economic Vitality

More than $4 billion in business and 60,000 jobs start with a single $70 a week payment from a mother to a family child care provider for supporting her new infant.

When the GA Dept. of Early Care and Learning asked GSU and UGA to conduct research about the impact of the early child care & education industry, this was one of the findings.

Attend one of six forums around the state to learn more and discuss findings.

Quality early care & education directly affects the future success of our children and is a factor in  economic development efforts statewide. Click here to find child care resources in your community.
