Election 2008 - Kids Speak Out
Voices asked Georgia students in grades 1-5 to submit essays for a contest in conjunction with the Sept. 16 "Step Up for Kids Day" rally held at the Capitol, in which they would describe a conversation with political candidates over lunch.
The three winning submissions from over 200 collected are posted in their entirety, but you can scroll down to read some candid points of view from all grades.

This is important so we can live better and to help the environment and all the animals, because there are some species of animals that are going extinct.
